All dogs, either sex, eligible for Best of Breed Competition shall be considered for these awards. At the discretion of the Intersex Judge, the maximum number of Awards of Merit that may be given shall be 10% of the Best of Breed entry, including Veterans and Winners, rounding up to the next whole number. That 10% is in addition to the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of breed winners with no consideration as to sex. Each dog selected shall receive a rosette (offered by the NCBMDCO) and a club medallion.
